RECURSOS DE BOLSONARO E GENERAL BRAGA NETO SÃO MARCADOS PELO STF NESSE SEMANA.

O presidente do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), ministro Luís Roberto Barroso, agendou para esta semana, especificamente na quarta-feira dia (19), o julgamento dos recursos interpostos pelo ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro e pelo general Braga Netto. Esses recursos têm como objetivo afastar os ministros Alexandre de Moraes, Flávio Dino e Cristiano Zanin da análise da denúncia referente à suposta conspiração golpista que, segundo os recorrentes, não ocorreu e que teria como propósito obstruir a posse do ex-presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva em 2023.

A expectativa entre os juristas mais renomados do país concentra-se na necessidade de afastamento imediato dos ministros do STF, sob o argumento de que possuem interesse na ação judicial contra o ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro. Alega-se que há um viés no julgamento com o intuito de condenar e prender o ex-presidente e seus aliados. Como se pode notar, há dois pesos e duas medidas. Um ex-presidiário, condenado em várias instâncias do Judiciário brasileiro por varios crimes cometidos, teve suas sentenças anuladas, seus direitos políticos restabelecidos e, por fim, pôde se candidatar normalmente.

Enquanto isso, outro deve ser condenado à pena máxima e, inclusive, ter sua patente retirada um direito adquirido com honra ao longo de sua brilhante carreira nas fileiras do Exército Brasileiro. Esse, por sua vez, deve ser preso e enviado a uma penitenciária comum apenas por ter expressado e continuar expressando verdades sobre o sistema ao povo brasileiro.

Bolsonaro and Braga Netto's Appeals Scheduled for Review by the Supreme Federal Court (STF) This Week

 

The President of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Minister Luís Roberto Barroso, has scheduled for this week, specifically on Wednesday (19), the trial of the appeals filed by former President Jair Bolsonaro and General Braga Netto. These appeals seek to remove Ministers Alexandre de Moraes, Flávio Dino, and Cristiano Zanin from reviewing the complaint regarding the alleged coup conspiracy, which, according to the appellants, did not occur and was purportedly aimed at obstructing the inauguration of former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in 2023.

The expectation among the country’s most renowned jurists is centered on the immediate removal of the STF ministers, arguing that they have a vested interest in the judicial action against former President Jair Bolsonaro. It is alleged that there is bias in the trial, with the intent to convict and imprison the former president and his allies.

As can be observed, there is a clear double standard. A former convict, sentenced in multiple instances of the Brazilian judiciary, had his convictions annulled, his political rights reinstated, and was ultimately able to run for office without restrictions.

Meanwhile, another individual is expected to receive the maximum sentence and even have his military rank—an honor earned throughout his distinguished career in the ranks of the Brazilian Army—revoked. This person, in turn, is to be imprisoned and sent to a common penitentiary merely for speaking out and continuing to reveal truths about the system to the Brazilian people.
