Um passageiro identificado como Vishwash Kumar Ramesh sobreviveu ao grave acidente do voo AI-171 da Air India, que deixou ao menos 200 mortos, segundo autoridades locais.

De acordo com o comissário de polícia de Ahmedabad, G.S. Malik, o único sobrevivente ocupava o assento 11A do Boeing 787-8, que partia rumo a Londres.

A lista oficial de passageiros confirmou que o assento era designado ao cidadão britânico Vishwash Kumar Ramesh. Ele foi encaminhado a um hospital e, segundo a imprensa indiana, relatou os momentos de pânico vividos a bordo: “Trinta segundos após a decolagem, houve um estrondo e o avião caiu. Foi tudo muito rápido.”

As causas do acidente ainda estão sendo investigadas pelas autoridades indianas.

A passenger identified as Vishwash Kumar Ramesh survived the tragic crash of Air India flight AI-171, which claimed the lives of at least 200 people, according to local authorities.

Ahmedabad Police Commissioner G.S. Malik confirmed that the sole survivor was seated in 11A aboard the Boeing 787-8, which was en route to London.

The official passenger manifest indicated that the seat belonged to British national Vishwash Kumar Ramesh. He was taken to a hospital and, according to Indian media, recounted the harrowing moments: “Thirty seconds after takeoff, there was a loud noise and the plane went down. It all happened so fast.”

Indian authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
