Mergulhador mochileiro de 21 anos e achado sem vida em hotel na “Ilha da Morte na Tailândia”.

 

Mais uma vez notícia negativa sobre já mencionado varias e varias vezes por portais no mundo todo, de pessoas que somem ou que aparecem mortas, e infelizmente mais uma vez trazemos uma má notícia de um estrangeiro Irlandês que foi encontrado morto, Robby Kinlan, de 21 anos foi encontrado em uma cama de hospedagem na ilha de Koh Tao, na Tailândia, um local que ganhou fama devido ao número significativo de mortes inexplicáveis envolvendo jovens ao longo dos anos.

O jovem irlandês, que estava no país para realizar um curso de mergulho livre, foi descoberto por um amigo em seu quarto, deitado apenas de cueca, com um celular nas mãos e fones de ouvido. Após a conclusão do curso, o amigo relatou que tentou chamá-lo por volta das 11h da manhã, mas não obteve resposta. Com a ajuda da equipe do hotel, tentaram abrir a porta, que estava trancada por dentro. Ao subirem pelo teto, avistaram Robby já sem vida, segurando o telefone que estava conectado a uma tomada.

As autoridades locais inicialmente classificaram a morte como misteriosa. No entanto, a família revelou ao Irish Mail que os resultados preliminares da autópsia indicaram insuficiência cardíaca pulmonar aguda como causa do falecimento. O relatório completo ainda será divulgado nas próximas semanas.

Segundo o tenente-coronel Theeraphat Sanjai, não havia sinais de arrombamento ou violência no local. Ele acredita que a morte tenha sido causada por um infarto fulminante, mas aguarda a análise oficial do perito para confirmar. Também não foram encontradas bebidas alcoólicas no quarto, e o amigo de Robby afirmou desconhecer qualquer condição médica preexistente do jovem.

A mãe de Robby, Tracy King, declarou que o corpo do filho permanece na Tailândia, mas que está organizando sua repatriação para a Irlanda. Ela agradeceu o apoio recebido de amigos e familiares durante esse momento difícil e compartilhou sua dor nas redes sociais. “Descanse em paz, meu precioso filho Robby. Ele está descansando em um belo templo em Koh Tao antes de ser levado de volta para a Irlanda. Meu coração está partido, mas sou grata pela gentileza de todos”, escreveu.

Robby, que sonhava em se tornar mergulhador, estava vivendo um momento especial em sua vida, segundo a mãe. "Ele era uma pessoa que iluminava qualquer ambiente com sua gentileza e calor. Na Tailândia, estava cercado de amigos, vivendo seu sonho e fazendo o que amava: mergulhar."

A família lançou uma campanha de arrecadação de fundos para custear a repatriação do corpo. Caso isso não seja possível, ele será cremado em um templo budista na Tailândia. “Queremos honrar Robby da melhor maneira possível, ajudando sua mãe e sua família. Desejamos que todos tenham a chance de se despedir e celebrar a pessoa incrível que ele era”, declarou a família.

De acordo com informações da polícia, Robby Kinlan estava hospedado no BaanTao Bungalo Resort, localizado a menos de três quilômetros da Praia Sairee, o mesmo local onde, em setembro de 2014, Hannah Witheridge e David Miller foram brutalmente assassinados.

Ao longo dos anos, a ilha tem sido palco de várias mortes inexplicáveis de jovens turistas, o que lhe rendeu o apelido inquietante de "Ilha da Morte".

21-Year-Old Backpacker Diver Found Lifeless in Hotel on Thailand's "Death Island"

Once again, a negative story emerges about a location frequently reported by global news outlets for cases of people disappearing or being found dead. Sadly, we bring yet another tragic report involving an Irish foreigner, Robby Kinlan, aged 21, who was found lifeless in a hotel bed on the island of Koh Tao, Thailand—a place infamous for its significant number of unexplained deaths among young people over the years.

The young Irishman, who had traveled to the country to take a freediving course, was discovered by a friend in his room, lying in his underwear, holding a phone in his hands with earphones on. After completing the course, the friend reported attempting to contact him around 11 a.m. but received no response. With the help of hotel staff, they tried to open the door, which was locked from the inside. Upon climbing onto the roof, they saw Robby lifeless on the bed, holding a phone that was connected to a charger.

Local authorities initially deemed the death a mystery. However, the family revealed to the Irish Mail that preliminary autopsy results indicated acute pulmonary heart failure as the cause of death. The complete report is expected to be released in the coming weeks.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Theeraphat Sanjai, there were no signs of forced entry or violence at the scene. He believes the death was caused by a sudden cardiac arrest but is awaiting confirmation from the forensic analysis. No alcoholic beverages were found in the room, and Robby’s friend stated he was unaware of any pre-existing medical conditions the young man might have had.

Robby’s mother, Tracy King, stated that her son’s body remains in Thailand, but she is working on arranging its repatriation to Ireland. She expressed gratitude for the support from friends and family during this difficult time and shared her sorrow on social media. “Rest in peace, my precious son Robby. He is resting in a beautiful temple in Koh Tao before being brought back to Ireland. My heart is broken, but I am grateful for everyone’s kindness,” she wrote.

Robby, who dreamed of becoming a diver, was living a special moment in his life, according to his mother. “He was the kind of person who lit up any room with his kindness and warmth. In Thailand, he was surrounded by friends, living his dream, and spending his days doing what he loved: freediving.”

The family has launched a fundraising campaign to cover the costs of repatriating Robby’s body. If this is not possible, he will be cremated at a Buddhist temple in Thailand. “We want to honor Robby in the best way we can, supporting his mother and family. We hope to give everyone the chance to say goodbye and celebrate the incredible person he was,” the family stated.
